Delta Air Lines has paused flights to Tel Aviv from New York-JFK through Aug. 31 in response to the current conflict in the region.

Customers impacted by flight cancellations will receive notifications via the Fly Delta app and contact information listed in their reservation, as these cancellations are processed in Delta’s system.

Passengers should contact Delta or their travel agent for rebooking options.

“The safety of our customers and crew remains our top priority,” Delta said in a statement. “Delta is continuously monitoring the evolving security environment and assessing our operations based on security guidance and intelligence reports. Updates will be communicated as needed.”

The airline has issued a travel waiver for all customers with impacted travel to and from TLV June 12 to Aug. 31.

Additionally, El Al suspended all of its flights following the declaration of a special situation and the closure of Israeli airspace for takeoffs and landings.
