Smyrna City Council to consider $113 million fiscal 2026 budget on June 2

SMYRNA, Georgia — The Smyrna City Council is expected to adopt a proposed $113 million budget for fiscal year 2026 during a special meeting on June 2.

The proposed budget includes roughly $69.9 million in General Fund funding, while Special Revenue Funds total slightly more than $9 million. Capital Project Funds are projected at $2 million, with the Internal Service Fund budgeted at nearly $3.6 million.

Enterprise Funds are proposed at more than $28.4 million.

For comparison, the revised fiscal year 2025 budget to date totals approximately $123.3 million. That version included a General Fund of $67.4 million, Special Revenue Funds of $9.19 million, Capital Project Funds totaling $16.3 million, an Internal Service Fund of $1.41 million, and Enterprise Funds of nearly $29 million.
