SCDOT to open new exit ramp from I-20 West to I-26 West

The South Carolina Department of Transportation will open a new exit ramp from Interstate 20 West to Interstate 26 West on Jan. 9.

Officials touted the news as another milestone in the second phase of the Carolina Crossroads Project.

The ramp will allow crews to permanently close the existing I-20 West exit ramp at the I-26 interchange. As part of this traffic change, overhead signs near the Broad River Road overpass will direct drivers where to exit using the new ramp.
