A proposed bill in Ohio aims to modernize parking meter payment methods.
House Bill 442 mandates that the Department of Public Safety director establish standards that enable multiple payment options, including cash, coins, credit cards, and QR codes. While the director may approve additional methods, the legislation mandates that drivers have the option to pay via cash, coin, or credit card.

The site builds off the legacy of The Travel Trolley, which launched in June 2009. The site aimed to be a virtual version of the trolley tours offered in so many cities.
