SMYRNA, Georgia — It’s easy to have regrets when building a business, particularly a group of highly respected restaurants across the Atlanta area.

But when it comes to regrets, Unsukay partner Ryan Turner doesn’t dwell on them. Rather, he wants to learn from them.

“To me, regret is an emotional anchor, and so are there things that, in hindsight, I would have done differently?” Turner said. “Absolutely. But I can do it differently. I did what I did, and I am where I am.

“I just think a healthy relationship with missteps, mistakes, failures, is how did that happen? Why did that happen? What was my role in that? What could I have done differently? What could I have said differently? ” Turner added. “Invest that into, hopefully, future wisdom. I can’t sit here and say I have regrets. There’s some things that I would have liked to redo but I don’t have anything that just anchors me.”
