New Zealand police said they have taken additional action to investigate mass gatherings held at the Auckland Domain earlier this month.

According to a news release, a 44-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man have been summoned to appear in the Auckland District Court on Nov. 11, 2021.

The two will appear on charges relating to organizing and attending mass gatherings held on Oct. 2 and 16 in breach of Alert level 3 restrictions.

Police inquiries remain ongoing, and authorities will not rule out further enforcement action being taken in this matter.
