The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) recently honored the Richard Nixon Foundation and its partners with Silver Anvil Award.

The PR association honored the foundation in the category of “Events and Observances / More Than Seven Days / Associations/Nonprofit Organizations” for the “It’s Time to Take Another Look at Richard Nixon” campaign. The campaign launched the opening of the new Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in October 2016 following a $15 million renovation.

The award follows a May honor. The Holmes Report, a PR industry publication, bestowed Gold at the 2017 SABRE Awards in New York City.

“This campaign has brought tens of thousands to Yorba Linda to experience the all-new interactive museum,” Bill Baribault, president and CEO of the Richard Nixon Foundation, said in a statement. “We thank PRSA for this great honor alongside the nation’s leaders in the communications industry.”

Agency partners honored alongside the foundation are KTStewart, Pinkston Group, James Robie Design and The Woo. More than 75,000 visitors have enjoyed the museum’s 70 new major exhibits, 30 unique multi-media experiences and more than 300 artifacts since it opened.
