Sen. Cruz, Rep. Ros-Lehtinen Lead Bipartisan Letter to UNESCO Member States: Do Not Rewrite Jerusalem’s History
U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz and Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen led a bipartisan, bicameral letter to members of the Executive Board of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) urging opposition to an item in UNESCO’s provisional agenda, a resolution that would diminish the historic and verified Jewish and Christian ties to the Old City of Jerusalem in an effort to delegitimize Israel.

That is why Speaker of the House David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) appointed me as the chairman of the new House Military Affairs Study Committee, a committee that looks at ways we can improve the military value of Georgia’s bases. The committee’s fourth meeting was held at Fort Gordon in Augusta, and Congressmen Jody Hice and Rick Allen joined us in support of our efforts to protect Georgia’s bases.
