ACVB President William Pate to address BBA

ATLANTA — Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) President William Pate will address the Buckhead Business Association (BBA) on Thursday, Sept. 22.

Pate is responsible for Atlanta’s robust tourism sector, one of the city’s top economic drivers. More than 48 million visitors come to metro Atlanta annually, generating more than $14 billion in visitor spending and sustaining more than 230,000 jobs.

Future BBA breakfast meeting speakers include:

  • Elev8 Solutions President and Owner Gus Gonzalez on Sept. 29
  • Atcore Systems CEO and Founder Josh Sweeney on Oct. 27
  • Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Head Basketball Coach Josh Pastner on Nov. 3

The BBA holds breakfast meetings at 7:30 a.m. most Thursday mornings at the City Club of Buckhead. Meetings feature business, political or civic leaders as speakers, and topics usually include leading issues within the Buckhead community and Atlanta as a whole. Tickets for members are $10 in advance and $12 at the door; non-member tickets are $20.
