ATLANTA, March 19, 2015 — The famed Bone’s restaurant in the trendy Buckhead community is the best restaurant in the city, according to a new ranking from Zagat.
Bone’s opened in 1979 and is often ranked among the best restaurants not just in Atlanta, but nationally. Of Bone’s, Zagat said:
“Always the first choice” of many for “corporate parties” or “special occasions”, Buckhead’s “clubby,” “ritzy” bastion of meat “never disappoints” with “indescribable” steaks that are “bad to da bone,” a “stellar wine list” and “professional” service that “can’t be topped”; though it’s “pricey,” most agree “you get your money’s worth.”
According to Zagat, the Top 10 best Atlanta restaurants are:
- Bone’s Restaurant
- Aria
- Antico Pizza Napoletana
- Umi Buckhead
- Chops Lobster Bar
- Pampas Steakhouse
- Tomo Japanese Restaurant
- Fogo de Chão Churrascaria
- Rathbun’s
- Bacchanalia
Interestingly, six of the top 10 restaurants are located in Buckhead. Only one of the top 10 best restaurants — Pampas Steakhouse — is located in the suburbs or outside the Perimeter (OTP).
