Berry’s 29-23 win, the first real win in school history, came on the school’s 100th Mountain Day and sent the Berry faithful into a frenzy. Students stormed the Barron Stadium field and a post-game fireworks show was a fitting end to a magical night.
Berry College’s planned football stadium will be relocated “out of respect for the nesting site of Georgia’s most famous pair of bald eagles,” school officials said this week.
