ATLANTA — On Monday, I made it to the Atlanta Thrashers game. With me were two close friends — Rob of robpg.com fame and his wife, Rachel.
A good time was had by all. And the Thrashers beat the Buffalo Sabres 5-0.
The Associated Press reported:
The Atlanta Thrashers tied their franchise record with their 33rd win Monday night, and set a team record with their 19th home victory.
However, goalie Kari Lehtonen and the Thrashers are after a more notable milestone – the first playoff berth in franchise history.
Though it’s been a while since I last attended a hockey game, I’m looking forward to the next one.
