Railfanning.org continues to publish new content highlighting railroads and the role they played in the history of Athens and Northeast Georgia. The website, which focuses on all aspects of railroads, first launched a page dedicated to Athens circa 2005. Among the Athens-relevant content the website has published are articles about the Athens Terminal Co., the Gainesville Midland and the Hartwell Railroad, which operates The Athens Line through downtown Athens. It has also featured railfanning opportunities along Atlanta Highway.

Yelp Names Peachtree Center Restaurant Top Place to Eat in Atlanta

A restaurant in Peachtree Center was voted the top place in metro Atlanta to eat by Yelp. Aviva by Kameel is “a Mediterranean joint in the food hall at Peachtree Center where Yelpers rave about the lamb shawarma, rosemary chicken and eggplant ratatouille,” Yelp wrote.
