New Jersey Sen. Doug Steinhardt, R-Lopatcong, sent a letter to Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin, D-Middlesex, and Senate President Nicholas Scutari, D-Union, calling on them to convene a bipartisan panel to address the mysterious drones in New Jersey.

Assemblymen John DiMaio and Erik Peterson want Gov. Phil Murphy to immediately address growing concerns over unexplained drone activity.

The mysterious drones flying over parts of North and Central New Jersey pose no threat to the public, Gov. Phil Murphy said.
