Per Butts County Fire Department’s Facebook page: “We will be conducting a structural training burn on Saturday May 16th. The training will be at 898 Macon Ave in Jackson (starting at 8am till 8pm). This is near Standard Oil Rd and Hwy 42. If traveling through this area expect delays also please be mindful of fire personnel, fire units, and hose lines that may be moving or in use in that area. We are conducting this training so we can provide our citizens / patrons with the best fire service . One way we do this is by training in real life scenarios.
