The BioLab fire in Conyers “poses significant health risks due to smoke and chemical fallout, which have affected the well-being of” the Rockdale County and east metro Atlanta areas, a Georgia lawmaker said.

The U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board sent investigators to investigate a Sept. 29 chemical fire at the BioLab facility in Conyers, Georgia.
