The Chattanooga Whiskey Company was launched in November 2011, but the company initially distilled through contractor MGP of Indiana in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, because of Tennessee laws. In March 2015, after officials changed local laws, the company opened the first legal distillery in Chattanooga since Prohibition.
The Lexington Brewing and Distilling Company was established in 1999 by Pearse Lyons, the founder and president of Alltech. Alltech initially introduced Kentucky Ale to enter the beverage industry. In 2012, the distillery began producing a range of spirits, including Pearse Lyons Reserve, a malt whiskey, Bluegrass Sundown, a coffee drink infused with bourbon, and Town Branch Bourbon.

The Clydeside Distillery is the city of Glasgow’s first dedicated single malt whisky distillery in more than a century. It opened in 2017 in the Pumphouse building, which originally controlled entry into Glasgow’s Queen’s Dock. The Clydeside Distillery released its inaugural Single Malt Whisky on October 15, 2021.
Titanic Distillers at Thompson Dock offers visitors a look inside Belfast’s revived whiskey industry, marking the city’s first working distillery in almost 90 years. The experience combines a tour of the distillery with the story of Belfast’s whiskey tradition, its rise, decline and recent return. Located on the Maritime Mile, the historic Thompson Dock and Pumphouse once stood beneath the hull of the RMS Titanic, serving as a focal point of shipyard activity. Today, visitors can walk through the original spaces where shipbuilders worked and explore the renewed spirit of the docklands. Just five minutes from the Titanic Hotel, the site highlights the people and stories that have inspired Titanic Distillers.
