Photos: Mercer Stays Unbeaten with 43-0 Win Over Berry

Mercer University football fans are understandably excited about their team’s perfect start, but the true test for the Bears (3-0) begins this weekend when Drake University (1-2) comes to town.

Berry College on Sunday picked up the first win in the program’s young history, a 37-27 victory over the JV squad of LaGrange College Panthers.

Berry College returns home this week following a challenging three-game road trip that saw the Division III team face off against a Division I FCS squad from Mercer University. Playing in their inaugural season, it marked the first-ever road trip in program history. While the Vikings (1-4) lost all three games, the team is excited about returning home to take on Centre College (3-1).
