
U.S. airlines carried a total of 88.6 million passengers in June, according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.
The total includes 76.3 million domestic travelers and 12.4 million international passengers.
Seasonally adjusted, June enplanements increased by 1.2% from May but declined 2.2% compared to the record set in June 2024. On an unadjusted basis, the system-wide total was down 1.2% year-over-year.
Domestic traffic decreased 1.2% from its June 2024 high, while international passenger numbers declined 1.6% over the same period. The Bureau of Transportation Statistics publishes monthly airline traffic reports, with summary data available since 2016 and complete records dating back to 2000.
