Former Ohio Senate president joins Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board

The Ohio Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board welcomed former Ohio Senate President Larry Obhof as its newest member.

Obhof, who served as Senate president during the 132nd and 133rd Ohio General Assemblies from 2017 to 2020, joins the board per the tradition that past Ohio Senate presidents hold seats.

“Capitol Square has an important mission, one that not only serves elected officials in the General Assembly, but more importantly serves as the keeper of the ‘People’s House,’” Obhof said in a release. “The history that has taken place within the halls of this remarkable building tells the story of not only Ohio, but in many ways the nation.”

CSRAB preserves the legacy and history of the Ohio Statehouse and the entire Capitol Square Complex.

In addition to Obhof’s appointment, CSRAB announced the approval of Megan Wycuff as its new executive director. Wycuff, who previously led the Ohio Channel, succeeds Laura Battocletti, who recently retired after several years of dedicated service.
