An American Eagle commuter flight, operated by PSA, flying from Wichita, Kansas, apparently collided with a helicopter as it was landing at Washington Reagan National Airport this evening.

AA 5342 apparently was scheduled to have 60 passengers on board.

“We will provide information as it becomes available,” American Airlines said on X.

Some reports indicate first responders were able to pull survivors from the Potomac River.

The regional jet was a Bombardier CRJ700, Fox News Channel reported. The helicopter was reportedly a military Sikorsky H-60.
