Las Vegas’ Atomic Museum announces $5,000 Giving Tuesday match

LAS VEGAS — The Atomic Museum is participating in this year’s Giving Tuesday, with up to $5,000 of donations matched until Tuesday, Dec. 3. This year’s matching donation is thanks to the generous support of Covelop Collaborative Development.

This year, the Atomic Museum is focusing on expanding its STEM educational programs for Nevada’s youth. The museum aims to foster curiosity, innovation and scientific exploration and position itself as a cornerstone of education in this community.

As a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform communities, donations made during this year’s Giving Tuesday campaign will also help preserve and foster public accessibility to the history associated with the Nevada Test Site, now known as the Nevada National Security Sites and the nation’s nuclear weapons program.

Donations for Giving Tuesday will help continue to facilitate education and awareness of the science and technology associated with the past, present and future of the nation’s nuclear weapons testing and national security programs.
