Georgia Senate committee to finalize farmland preservation Rreport

ATLANTA — The Senate Study Committee on the Preservation of Georgia’s Farmlands will convene its final meeting on Monday, Nov. 25.

The committee, chaired by Sen. Billy Hickman, R–Statesboro, will adopt its final report on farmland preservation issues and recommendations for potential legislation.

The public is welcome to attend the meeting, scheduled for 10 a.m. in Room 450 at the State Capitol in Atlanta, is open to the public. The session will be live-streamed on the Georgia General Assembly website. Previous meeting details and materials are also available online.
