Americans for Prosperity – Georgia has awarded four members of Congress — Republicans Buddy Carter, Rich McCormick, Barry Loudermilk, and Rick Allen — with “Pioneers for Prosperity” awards.

The award honors lawmakers the group said were policy champions during the 118th Congress. The group said these lawmakers backed principles and policies that advance the conservative movement while proactively opposing ideas that grow the size of government and cost taxpayers.

Lawmakers earned recognition for supporting bills such as the Employee Rights Act, Strategic Production Response Act, Lower Energy Costs Act, Health Care Fairness for All Act, and other pivotal pieces of legislation offering common-sense solutions to improve Americans’ lives.

“The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act provided crucial stimulus for economic growth and job creation in our country,” McCormick said in a statement. “I am proud to work with Americans for Prosperity to advocate for the extension of those beneficial provisions of the TCJA, which helps boost investment in American businesses and simplifies the tax process for many Americans.”
