Comcast Vice President of Business Services Cleveland “Cleve” Lewis will address the Buckhead Business Association (BBA) during the organization’s Dec. 17 breakfast meeting.
Lewis was appointed to the post in January and oversees the continued expansion of Comcast Business in the company’s Big South Region, which includes portions of eight states. He leads operational, marketing and sales efforts, including the growth of the company’s 10-gigabit network across Metro Atlanta.
Lewis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Brandeis University. Before joining Comcast, he was vice president of sales for a privately held start-up Cloud distributor.
Comcast provides business services to hundreds of companies across Metro Atlanta. The company invests more than $200 million annually in Georgia, boasts the state’s largest Wi-Fi network and operates four XFINITY Customer Centers in Atlanta, including one in Buckhead.
In February, Comcast announced the addition of 300 new jobs in Metro Atlanta. The company currently employs approximately 4,000 people in Georgia.
In March, Comcast announced the company will provide multi-terabit network capabilities in and around SunTrust Park, the new Atlanta Braves stadium currently under construction in Cobb County. Once complete, it will be the most technologically advanced mixed-use development in the country, and Comcast will be the signature tenant in a multi-story office building located within the 60-acre development.
The BBA meets at 7:30 a.m. most Thursday mornings at the City Club of Buckhead and features a mix of business, political and civic leaders as speakers. Tickets for members are $10 in advance and $12 at the door; non-member tickets are $20.
