ATLANTA — Looking to give the gift of travel this Valentine’s Day.

How about a nakation? That’s right: a nude vacation.

For anyone who might be interested, the American Association of Nude Recreation (AANR) suggests the Nakation Starter Kit. The kit includes:

  • “Tie One On” sarong
  • Official AANR sunglasses
  • Logo SPF-15 sunscreen in convenient single application packets, so you’re prepared and protected to hit the pool or beach
  • Plush nakation tush towel
  • Champagne flutes or wine glasses
  • “The Naked Truth” — a listing of popular nakation destinations and lifestyle tips nudists live by
  • Special Nakation savings and first-visit offers
  • AANR’s North American Guide to Nude Recreation color brochure
  • “Feel the Freedom” tee shirt to wear in anticipation of your trip

The Nakation Starter Kit comes with a two-year AANR membership and is $149.99 plus tax for a single membership and $199.99 plus tax per couple.

“The nudist lifestyle is all about enjoying oneself without the social or physical restrictions of clothing in a non-sexual environment of like-minded people,” Susan Weaver, AANR president, said in a news release. “The point is to become comfortable with your body no matter what shape you’re in and to view it — tummy rolls and all — with acceptance.”
