ATLANTA — A 61-year-old Sandy Springs man faces assault charges after a fellow passenger alleged inappropriate touching, according to the FBI Special Agent in Charge Brian D. Lamkin.
On Monday, “a passenger aboard a Delta flight from Dallas, Texas to Atlanta complained of being touched several times in an inappropriate fashion and reported this to the flight crew,” the FBI said in a statement.
Federal authorities charged Ranchhodbhai Lakha with assault and sexual assault. He appeared before a U.S. Magistrate Judge in Atlanta on Monday. No details about the alleged victim were released by federal authorities.
