Results of a new survey show that a growing number of state transportation departments (DOTs) are communicating critical news and information with travelers using Twitter, Facebook and other social media. American Eagle Airlines, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, will begin nonstop jet service between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO). The service starts June 10.
