Overview
Malcolm Cochran created “Field of Corn (with Osage Orange),” which debuted in 1994 as part of a project commissioned by the Dublin Arts Council. The field features 109 rows of corn measuring six feet or more in height. Sam Frantz, a pioneer of hybrid corn and his wife, Eulalia, previously owned the land and grew corn here. Since its debut, the project hasn’t been without its share of controversy.
Sightseers’ Delight started publishing in June 2016. The site, published by The DeFeo Groupe, collects and curates content about places where historical events large and small happened. The site builds off the legacy of The Travel Trolley, which launched in June 2009. The site aimed to be a virtual version of the trolley tours offered in so many cities.
