Football season is back in full swing.
In honor of its return, Lawn Love released its 2024 rankings for the Best Metro Areas for Football Fans. To compile the list, the site compared 203 of the biggest U.S. metros across 18 metrics.
The analysis included the number of NFL, UFL and NCAA Division I teams, social media followers and season ticket prices.
The Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington, Texas, metro area topped the list, edging out Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim, California; Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land, Texas; and Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Alpharetta, Georgia. The New York-Newark-Jersey City metro area ranked fifth, while the Columbus, Ohio, area ranked 10th.
