Biltmore Estate closed until at least Oct. 15

The Biltmore Estate will be closed until at least Oct. 15 following Hurricane Helene.

“Due to significant flooding, impassable roads, and widespread power outages in our region from Tropical Storm Helene, Biltmore will remain closed until further notice as our community continues focusing on recovery efforts,” Biltmore said on its website.

“We are heartbroken for our friends, family, and neighbors across this region who have been devastated by this storm,” Biltmore added. “To our first responders, utility workers, and community volunteers, we are eternally grateful for your endless care and courage. We will all work together to recover from this unprecedented disaster.”

The Asheville, North Carolina, area was hit particularly hard by Helene.
