SMYRNA, Georgia — Smyrna officials are set to review a zoning request for a 9.8-acre mixed-use development at the corner of Windy Hill Road and Dixie Avenue.
Developer WSE Development LLC seeks to rezone and annex the land from GC, LI (Smyrna), and HI (Cobb County) to MU-Conditional for a project including 295 multi-family units at a density of 29 units per acre, a 30,000-square-foot civic building, and community amenities.
The proposal includes multi-level buildings, parking structures, and recreational facilities. Community Development recommends approval with several conditions, including that the mixed-use building be made of brick, stone, shake, hardy plank and stucco.
Developers would demolish the existing International Gospel Outreach Church and its parking lot.
