‘Shoe Entrapment is Possible’

ATLANTA — There are so many dangers in the airport today. That’s why it’s vital that travelers put all liquids (3 ounces or less) in a clear zip-top bag. That also explains the top-notch at every airport coast to coast.

Now, those are the dangers the mainstream media regularly focus on — and we as a society are so familiar with. But, my friends, there us a far greater lurking ahead at the next escalator — shoe entrapment.
[Be afraid…]

Sure, this sounds like a fictional danger created to strike fear in our Croc-wearing society. But, no, this is a clear and present danger.

So much so, the airport (at least the lame excuse for the one in Atlanta) now plays pre-recorded warning announcements over the PA system — alongside the ones about keeping your bags in your possession at all times and liquids are subject to inspection separately.

Speaking of, why do they play the one about the liquids in the terminals — after I’ve already passed through security and presumably subjected my liquids to their own personal security inspection?
