The sun rises on Belfast, which could have two meanings. Of course, there’s the literal “new day at dawn” interpretation. Then, there’s also the notion that the Troubles of the past have been left behind.
Questions and conversations remain but hopefully they remain verbal and not disagreements of another sort. The city is remarkable, the people affable. It’s a gem waiting to be discovered. The past is the past.
While it’s in the rear-view, it’s not forgotten. It’s to be learned from, not repeated.
