Many cities are known for a specific landmark.
Paris has the Eiffel Tower. Pisa has the Leaning Tower. Dublin has a field of concrete corn. Dublin, Ohio, that is.
A new analysis from VegasSlotsOnline has unveiled a list of the best-rated superstitious landmarks in the country based on visitor data, online sentiment, and digital popularity.
In the United States, many of these landmarks are wrapped in legend and folklore. Many of these landmarks are places where tossing a coin, rubbing a statue, or sipping from a mystical spring is believed to bring good fortune, wealth, or even eternal youth.
Topping the list is the iconic Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas. While known for its water shows, many tourists view the fountains as a modern wishing well, flocking to toss coins into the water, hoping for good luck or a guaranteed return to Sin City.
With 1.62 million views on Google Street View annually, 23,500 Instagram posts, and over 9,500 TikTok videos, the Bellagio fountains are a bona fide visual spectacle.
Coming in second is The Charging Bull in New York City.
Although originally a symbol of Wall Street’s strength and resilience, the bronze statue has taken on a more playful, superstitious connotation. The bull has become a social media sensation, boasting 117,000 Instagram posts, more than 1,400 TikTok videos, and 52,800 GSV views each year.
Rounding out the top three is the Fountain of Youth in St. Augustine, Florida.
Tied to the legend of Ponce de León’s quest for immortality, the site claims to offer healing waters that preserve youth. Despite a smaller digital footprint — just 777 Instagram posts and 9 TikToks — the landmark still draws 486,000 views on Google Street View annually.
