Clarksville, Tennessee, to open new parking garage on Nov. 18

City officials in Clarksville, Tennessee, will formally open a 587-vehicle space parking garage in downtown Clarksville on Monday, Nov. 18.

Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts and the Clarksville Parking Commission, chaired by Andy Kean, will lead the event.

The new eight-story parking garage anchors the Historic Downtown Clarksville redevelopment. The new deck opens as city officials anticipate a new Clarksville Performing Arts Center on Franklin Street and greater traffic and commerce in the Central Business Improvement District.

The new garage may be entered from Commerce Street, First Street, or the Cumberland Parking Garage on the Second Street level. A pedestrian bridge connects the new garage to Franklin Street at the Roxy Theatre.

Spring Alley, running adjacent to the new garage, which has been closed through the construction period, will be accessible starting Nov. 18.
