ATHENS, Georgia — Bear Hollow Zoo at Memorial Park, located at 293 Gran Ellen Dr., will temporarily close for tree removal.
On Monday, March 11, work will start on two tree-felling operations. Beginning Tuesday, March 12, the Zoo will be closed.
Work will continue on Wednesday, March 13, and the Zoo will remain closed until this tree is removed. The zoo anticipates regular operations will resume on Thursday, March 14.
