A 33-year-old man died after jumping from a crane in Wellington Harbour on Friday, New Zealand Police said.

According to a report in Stuff, the man jumped feet first from the Hikitia Floating Crane, which is on a permanently moored vessel. Three people jumped in after the man, identified as Jarreth Colquhoun.

“Our thoughts remain with Jarreth’s family and friends,” police said in a statement.
