“It takes a community to help bring an end to situational homelessness, and we are so grateful for this partnership,” said Andrea Brantley, executive director of Family Promise of North Fulton/DeKalb. “Even though we’re still working on emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic, our mission hasn’t stopped. We are as committed as ever to helping lift every family out of situational homelessness, and we can’t do it without the help of community members and organizations like the Atlanta Braves Foundation.”

Nationally, one child out of six lives in poverty. An estimated 35 percent of those who experience homelessness in the country have children, and Family Promise has embarked on a plan to change the future for 1 million children nationwide by 2030.
