Many Georgia voters to decide on whether to allow brunch alcohol sales

KENNESAW, Ga. — Voters in many municipalities statewide will vote on whether to allow alcohol sales with brunch starting at 11 a.m.

Cities and counties that passed an ordinance or resolution to include the Brunch Bill language on the November 6 General Election ballot are:

Under existing laws, restaurants cannot set alcohol until 12:30 p.m. on Sundays. If approved, the earlier sales would only apply to establishments that make at least 50 percent of their revenue from food.
