Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation names 10 sites to 2018 Places in Peril list

ATLANTA — The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation named 10 places across Georgia, including Underground Savannah, to this year’s Places in Peril list.

The group issues the annual list to raise awareness about historic, archaeological and cultural resources statewide that are threatened by demolition or neglect.

Sites on the 2018 list are:

“This is the Trust’s thirteenth annual Places in Peril list,” Mark C. McDonald, president and CEO of the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation, said in a news release. “We hope the list will continue to bring preservation solutions to Georgia’s imperiled historic resources by highlighting ten representative sites.”
