Sightseers' Delight

Can we at least agree on this?

In whatever has happened in the last year, it seems like we’ve forgotten to enjoy the view.

It’s been harder, no doubt, obscured by a mask and panic. But no political party has a monopoly on scenic vistas.

Can we at least agree on that?

There aren’t red state views and blue state views. There are views worth seeing.

Would you know that watching the news or reading your social media feed? Highly unlikely.

I’ve enjoyed views in both red and blue states. The entire world doesn’t revolve around politics. Why do so many people tie their self-worth to their political candidate of choice?

What does this have to do with the Everglades?w Not much except for the fact I’m glad my phone didn’t work the whole time. When we’re focused on our mobile devices, we forget about the world outside. The real one. The one with the alligator over there. Wait, what?
