Ten Bob Dylan albums necessary for any music collection

Forty years ago, the time had indeed a-changed.

Bob Dylan, on Jan. 13, 1964, released The Times They Are A-Changin’ – his third album, and second collection of original music. Considered an album of protest songs and social commentary, Dylan’s songwriting reached epic proportions on this album.

Between the album’s title track, “Only a Pawn in their Game” and “With God on Our Side,” the song that inspired lyricist Tim Rice to write Jesus Christ Superstar, the record contained some of Dylan’s most timeless compositions, still performed decades later.
